Collaborations

HERMAN+BACHER

Herman+Bacher is a collaboration of Daniel Herman with Philipp Bacher from Munich with a new approach to nightshirts for men: long, generous, tough and robust – a nightshirt that can be worn by day and by night.

A great effort is being made to be as environmentally sustainable as possible:

Created to last and produced locally in Southern Germany (Baden-Württemberg) using natural fibers with a low ecological footprint (linen, hemp, cotton only from remainders of stock).

Several years of freelance design for jacquard weaver Gessner, Wädenswil in Switzerland.

TRIUMPH

Daniel Herman has been working as freelance designer and consultant with lingerie producer Triumph since 2002. The collaboration started with the Triumph headquarter in Zurzach, Switzerland but in the course of time he also worked with Triumph Heubach (where Triumph was founded), Triumph Munich and Triumph Japan. He created theme based show collections, PR concepts and trendforcasts. He helped to set up the Triumph Inspiration Award, curated an exhibiton of historic lingerie from the archive for their 125 years anniversery and was part of a think tank for the application of innovative technologies.

Triumph Japan

This is part of a collection for Triumph Japan / Marble & Marsh. Target audience are young customers.

Let’s TRIUMPH bra

This small capsule plays with the literal meaning of the brand name: to triumph.

It has been presented in Athens in 2004 when everyone focused on Athens for the opening of the Olympic Games.

“Painted” Christmas Special

One of the last cinema poster painters in Munich had been employed to highlight a Christmas lingerie edition by Triumph. The lingerie had been shot, graphics arranged and everything painted old style and large scale by Rene Birkner to revive the style of cinema posters from the 40s.
